Argumentative Research Paper Should children read fairy...

Fairy tales picture a world filled with magic, love and the triumph of the good over the evil. Fairy tales are a window to other worlds where the wildest dreams can come true and the hero always lives happily ever after preferably paired with his loved one. Although some people argue that fairy tales are full of stereotypes, filled with frightening monsters and promote racism and sexism I believe that they are wrong because fairy tales provide valuable moral lessons to children, teach them other countries cultures promote the imagination and the cognitive development and therefore they should be read to young children. As a first argument, supporting that fairy tales should be read to children, it must be mentioned that fairy tales and†¦show more content†¦Another way of learning is introduced by an entry entitled Fairy Tales included in an encyclopedia which mentions that fairy tales can teach a child about other cultures and civilizations and therefore teach it that apart from its own country and culture there are also many other people and cultures throughout the entire world. This can help children to overcome the egocentrism and selfish thoughts, which are very common in those ages, and make them realize that apart from them , billions of other people live in this planet and hundred of other nations exist apart from their own. Also fairy tales can introduce children, who are relatively powerless in most areas of their lives, to a world where the smallest animal, the poorest peasant, the youngest daughter often prevails over those larger, richer, older, and more powerful. Thus, in the words of writer and child psychologist Bruno Bettelheim: fairy tales can help children confront and resolve conflicts in their own lives Therefore, we can easily conclude that, fairy tales, by portraying a world where it is possible for the weak to prevail over the strong, can give hope to children and make them confront their own problems with courage and self-esteem. My last argument supporting fairy tales claims that fairy tales and stories generally can become a tool of the society to teach children socialization and enroll children in our society. Differentiated Instructionâ€Literature Review.By Teri Daniel.

Differentiated Instruction–Literature Review By Teri Daniel Introduction – What is Differentiated Instruction? Students are different, just like people are different. There are many varied groups of students in one classroom. Differentiated instruction is a process for teaching and learning for students of differing abilities in the same class (Hall et al., 2011). The intent of differentiating instruction is to maximize each student’s growth, and individual success by meeting each student where he or she is, and assisting in the learning process (Hall et al., 2011). Instruction is differentiated in classrooms through content, process, products, and learning environment. Teachers must adapt curriculum and lesson planning to meet†¦show more content†¦He rejected the idea that children are primarily motivated by rewards and punishments, rather, children are motivated by what they are most interested in. Often misrepresented to be associated with child-centered education (1899.) In 1968, Fred Keller introduced the Keller Plan, to help students in Brazil master content at their own pace. Curriculum was short units of written texts that students moved thru at their own pace, and then took a test. If they failed a test, they repeat coursework until they could demonstrate mastery. Students in these PSI courses (Keller Plan) â€Å"learn course content better, remember it longer, and like the experience more than students in traditional classes,† (Fox, 2004). In 1978, Lev Vygotsky conducted research in child psychology in the 1920s, but his work did not reach the USA until 1978. He states: â€Å"Every function in the child’s cultural development appears twice: first, on the social level, and later, on the individual level; first, between people (interpsychological) and then inside the child (intrapsychological).† (Vygotsky, 1978). He thought curriculum should be interactive, teachers should scaffold by students performance, and assessment range on zone of proximal development. This zone is where kids learn and described as what children can do at their actual development and what they can do with help is their level of potential

Question: Discuss about theSport for Santa Maria Della Misericordia Hospital. Answer: Critical response The purpose of this newspaper article is to focus on the unfortunate death of the captain of the Fiorentina football club Davide Astori. This news had been published in the USA Today, dated on 4th March, 2018 (Usatoday.com, 2018). This newspaper article is very much important from the perspective of the football fans in particular. This article has been intended to the football fans in particular. Many football fans of Fiorentina football club and Italian football fans have been largely disheartened by this news. This newspaper article has been reported from Udine, a town in Italy. Fiorentina went to this town to play their away football match for Fiorentina against Udinese. This had been a very unnatural death for the Fiorentina captain who was aged only 31 (Usatoday.com, 2018). The reports have been very shocking as the captain of Fiorentina did not turn up at the time of the breakfast since He has been a very efficient team member of the Fiorentina team in his position. He has been a very successful defender for his club in all his appearances. The reason of this unfortunate death has been suspected as normal cardiac arrest. As a repercussion, all the matches in top two divisions in Italy had been postponed (Usatoday.com, 2018). Astori had represented the national football team of Italy for 14 times as well. This match of Fiorentina had been called off by the officials instantly. As it was thought to be an unnatural death for the captain, his body had been taken to Santa Maria della Misericordia Hospital to investigate more on this case. The English football association or FA has already declared that they will arrange a football friendly match at the Wembley stadium on 27th of March in the memory of Davide Astori. The entire intended audience for the article i.e. the football fans all over the world had been grif-stricken very badly. This is why most clubs and national football federations decided to show respect to Astori in their own ways (Usatoday.com, 2018). The picture of Astori was being showed in the giant screens of the stadiums. This had been very eventful from the all the angles as well. It had also been reported that the Cagilari coach Diego Lopez had to be treated by doctors as he had fallen ill after listening the news of death of Astori. The social media also went active in this aspect when the Juventus captain Gianluigi Buffon had posted the picture of himself with Astori on Instagram after this incident (Usatoday.com, 2018). The current Chelsea coach and former Italy coach Antonio Conte was wearing the black armband ahead of Chelseas Premier League clash with Mancchester City at Etihad stadium in Manchester. In this article, a brief history of Astori has been provided of how he became such a valuable player of Fiotentina after great struggles. The coaches in Italy have expressed their opinion about Astori that he had really been a true professional footballer and he has given his best all the times. These incidents of the sudeen death will have to be controlled for the footballers in the future. References Usatoday.com. (2018).
